At Ms. Kirrena’s, we believe strong, respectful communication builds the foundation for meaningful family partnerships. We keep communication simple, personal, and responsive to support today’s busy families.
How We Communicate
- Brightwheel App
We use Brightwheel to simplify communication, documentation, and daily updates. You can check your child in and out, receive photos, messages, and important updates all in one place. - Text Messaging
For quick reminders, real-time messages, and occasional photo or video highlights of your child’s day. - Daily Information
Families of infants (under 12 months) receive daily paper reports covering feedings, naps, and diapering. For older children, we share key moments and milestones as they happen through Brightwheel or text. - Email
Used for program updates, calendars, and important documents. - Bulletin Board
Located at the entrance with required state postings, community resources, and printed announcements.
Family Participation
- Visits & Volunteering
Families are welcome to visit, share meals, volunteer, or attend field trips. For safety, all visitors must sign in and out. - Family Game Nights
Held twice a year to build connection through food, fun, and play. - Family Conferences
Offered twice a year to discuss your child’s development, learning style, and goals. Additional conferences available upon request.
Media & Photos
Unless otherwise requested in writing, your child’s photo may be used for internal documentation, Brightwheel updates, social media, or promotional materials that celebrate our learning community. We are always mindful of children’s privacy and dignity.
