Communication
At Ms. Kirrena’s, we believe open, respectful, and timely communication builds trust between families and caregivers.
We keep communication simple, personal, and responsive to meet the needs of today’s busy families.
How We Communicate
We use text messaging for important announcements, reminders, schedule updates, and real-time communication when needed.
Individual messages and photos may also be sent to highlight your child’s day or share special moments directly with you.
We stay in touch daily through brief texts or photo updates when needed.
Rather than providing formal daily reports for each child, we focus on meaningful, real-time communication and sharing milestones as they happen.
Families of infants (under 12 months) will receive paper daily reports covering feedings, naps, and diapering routines.
All major updates, calendars, and policy changes are communicated via email.
We encourage you to provide an email address you check regularly.
Required state postings and important documents are available on the bulletin board at our entrance.
Additional updates or announcements will also be sent via text or handout as needed.
Family Participation
Family participation is always encouraged!
You are welcome to visit, volunteer, join us for field trips, or share meals.
For everyone’s safety, all visitors must sign in and out when visiting.
Twice a year, we host Family Game Nights — evenings full of food, games, fun, and connection with your child’s learning community.
We offer Family-Teacher Conferences twice annually to discuss your child’s development, learning style, interests, and goals.
Additional conferences can be requested at any time.
Publicity and Media
Unless otherwise indicated in writing, your child’s photo may occasionally be used for internal communications, social media, or promotional materials celebrating our program and learning experiences.
We are mindful and respectful of children’s privacy at all times.
