At Ms. Kirrena’s, the health, safety, and well-being of your child is always our highest priority. We maintain a clean, nurturing, and mindful environment by following best practices in hygiene, daily sanitization, and illness prevention.

Our Current Practices

• Brightwheel Check-In & Check-Out
  All families are required to use Brightwheel for secure digital sign-in and sign-out each day. This helps us maintain accurate attendance and enhances safety for every child in our care.
• Hand Hygiene
  Hand sanitizer or wipes are available at the entrance. Children and staff practice regular, thorough handwashing especially before meals, after bathroom use, and after outdoor play.
• Daily Cleaning & Sanitization
  Toys, surfaces, and high-touch areas are cleaned and sanitized daily using child-safe products to ensure a healthy environment.
• Temperature Checks (As Needed). 
• We use non-invasive wrist or inner arm scans when temperature checks are required. These are done respectfully and only when necessary.
• Illness Policy
  Children who are sick, show signs of contagious illness, or have a fever must stay home until they are symptom-free for at least 24 hours without medication. We work in partnership with families to reduce the spread of illness and protect our learning community.
