Health and Safety
At Ms. Kirrena’s, the health, safety, and well-being of your child is always our highest priority.
We maintain a clean, nurturing environment by following best practices in hygiene, daily sanitation, and illness prevention.
Our Current Practices Include:
Families are required to complete a paper sign-in and sign-out sheet each day at drop-off and pick-up.
This helps ensure the safety and accountability of every child in our care.
Hand sanitizer or hand wipes are available at the entrance.
Children and staff practice frequent and thorough handwashing throughout the day, including before meals, after restroom use, and after outdoor activities.
All surfaces, toys, and frequently touched areas are cleaned and sanitized daily to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
If a temperature check is necessary, we use a wrist or inner arm scanning method.
We prioritize respectful, non-invasive health monitoring practices.
Children who are sick, showing signs of contagious illness, or running a fever must stay home until they are symptom-free for 24 hours without medication.
We partner with families to help prevent the spread of illness and keep our community healthy.
